63rd Street & Market Street
The site at 63rd & Market Street is a 15 acre tract of land at the intersection of 63rd Street and market Street in Delaware County, PA. Through a collaborative effort, WRDC and Millbourne Borough anticipate a mixed use development including 75,000 square feet of retail space and 78 apartment units. The revitalization of the former Sears site is an initiative to provide the surrounding under-served neighborhoods with a variety of fresh food choices, business options and housing built around Septa’s Millbourne Train Station which is located on site. This redevelopment represents an opportunity for WRDC to contribute to a socially and environmentally responsible development that will create jobs, rebuild a community and improve mufti-modal transportation. The planning of this project forged a strong partnership between WRDC, Millbourne Borough, the community and its stakeholders.
