This is a big week for theme park fans like me. The first new Orlando theme park in 25 years has officially opened its doors (or rather its portals): Epic Universe, a huge wheel-and-spoke design of highly themed lands devoted to Nintendo, "Harry Potter," horror legends and "How to Train Your Dragon." I toured it before it opened and it was a whirlwind, so I'm plotting a return soon. And my colleague Shauna Muckle has a very astute look at how this is expected to affect all of Central Florida, from traffic to tourism.
